Education

History

Heather started using her life experiences to help others long before it was defined by a career.  She started volunteering at nursing homes when she was 12 years old on her own accord.  She looked forward to entertaining and solving challenges for the residents and it set the tone for what would become her life's work.
She officially opened her first hypnosis clinic in 2003 in Chester, VA.  She was hired by a national hypnosis company and was thrown into the fires of experience as a "conflict resolution specialist".   Her job was to take on the difficult cases that didn't see results and then consult with the original hypnotist to debrief and retrain them.  This experience gave her an immense amount of insight that the average professional may never see.   She expanded her knowledge by training with Scott McFall and deeply studying Virginia Satir and any other practitioners that seemed to share her "empath" strategy.  She has since been working as a full time hypnotist, trainer, mentor and consultant ever since.

She lives in Lady Lake, FL with her Macaw "Pretty" and continues to teach and see clients there as well as online all over the world.

This intense hypnosis experience has given her the insight and
patience to stay with every client until they meet their goal. She has since
opened and run 2 hypnosis state exempted schools in NC and FL.
Her radio show followed Dr. Laura on Saturday mornings as
"Heather The Hypnotist"on WDOX in Raleigh NC was a joyful project with and ending of an old time radio show saga.
Heather is a published author of “A Dedicated Life, An Empath’s
Journey”
. This is a text book of sorts to navigate the emotional and
physical upheaval that empaths experience in their daily life.
From first grade until college Heather (Merrill) McFall was faced with
adapting to constant change. From 1977 until 1992 nearly every year
Heather moved from school to school, state to state and among divorced
parents in a challenging family environment. Becoming caregiver for her
critical diabetic father at only 12 years old increased her adaptability while
trying to appear normal. Heather's constant change and adaptations through childhood
afforded her insights that developed into world class behavior change skills.
